Overview

Monitoring and traces shows you one Run at a time. Monitoring and alerting works across all of them: which API’s success rate dropped this week, which supplier fails most often, when a particular error started—and it tells you when something needs attention. It’s built on OpenSearch. Every Run, JobRun, and run log in your workspace is available to search, chart, and alert on, including your Runs’ parameters and outputs.

When to use it

  • Operating automations in production. Know a portal started failing before your users notice.
  • Routing issues to the right people. Send failures for one supplier, project, or API to a different team than the rest.
  • Reporting on reliability. Review success rates, failure reasons, and volumes on a regular cadence.

Dashboards

Runs and JobRuns overview dashboards are ready as soon as monitoring is enabled. Build your own alongside them—for example, failure rate per supplier, top error codes over time, or duration per project.

Alerts

Alerts check your data on a schedule and notify a channel when a condition is met:
  • Slack
  • Email
  • Webhook
For example: more than 10% of Runs for an API failed in the last 30 minutes, a Run failed with a specific error code, or a project has had no successful Runs for a few hours.

Reports

Saved dashboards double as reports for recurring reviews, so every review uses the same definitions of success, failure, and volume.

Limitations

  • Enterprise only. Monitoring is enabled per workspace by Intuned support.
  • Limited by retention. Data older than your plan’s retention period is deleted.
  • New Runs only. Runs are included from the time monitoring is enabled.
